To prepare our minds and hearts for the day we leave our beloved church behind and move to our new spiritual home, the Parish Council and Fr. Jasinski composed the following prayer. God our Father,

you are the source of all goodness and

of every blessing under heaven.

We praise and thank you

for the gift of our Catholic faith,

and the living of and witnessing to that faith

at St. Benedict Church for over 150 years.

As we strive to live the Gospel and look to our future,

we ask for your blessings upon us.

May we respond with hope and generosity

as we embrace our new spiritual home in Horace.

With thanksgiving for all we have received,

may the sacrifices we now make together

bear fruit in the faith of future generations.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
